Fluidity
The innovative system has a self-locking closure and a removable locking handle that allows the MODERNA flood barrier to be applied smoothly, without snapping and with less effort than other flood barriers on the market.
RAPID MODERNA does not require installation work, masonry, permanent fastening systems or the application of side profiles, if it is supported by a suitable sill or a 2 cm protruding frame on the interior to be protected. If you do not have a suitable threshold for mounting the barrier, we can supply a metal (flat) profile to make the surface smooth and flat.

The MODERNA flood barrier is made of anodised aluminium, and the smooth slat without gaps allows for proper cleaning. The pressure fixing mechanism is much smoother than any barrier on the market.
Features
▶︎ SAFETY
The lock catch is secured with a safety screw, so that it can be circumvented by the drill. You no longer run the risk of crushing your fingers irreparably. The tab protects against crushing between the two doors when they are moved.
▶︎ GASKET
The horizontal seal is whole and not cut between the 2 wings. The rectangular-shaped gaskets allow for lateral compression and with their right-angle shape allow for better sealing of water and its pressures than other shapes. Pins allow for adequate compression of the horizontal gasket.
▶︎ PADLOCK
The lock catch does not protrude, is not exposed to flooding and the lock remains protected under the upper handle.
▶︎ LOCKING SYSTEM
It can be applied with minimal effort, thanks to the Soft Block, and does not release if pressed from the inside: Security Block, and when handled, the special tab ensures that fingers are not crushed: Safety Block.

The external standard handle is exportable while the top handle allows use from both inside and outside.

Our patented hinge that is placed between the two doors (door and sash) is stronger than others on the market.

The patented kinematics means that the barrier does not widen excessively and then shrink, so it is applied with less effort, even in the highest dimensions. Resulting in the smooth, jerk-free movement as happens with all others that are only similar. The handle features an ergonomic grip, providing support, safety and strength. Possibility of opening the barrier from both inside and outside. Possibility of “slightly trapezoidal” construction allows for adequate and less forceful compression of the side seals.
▶︎ LACK OF ORTHOGONALITY
In case of a lack of orthogonality of the compartment, a barrier can be set up with a lack of ‘lead’ ±4 mm on one side and ±2 mm on the opposite side while keeping an appropriate template for the compartment.
